I studied Typography, HTML/CSS and Finished Art my Diploma of Graphic Design at The Royal Institute of Technology located in Brunswick. After completing work experience at Girling Design and Passport Design I went on to work full-time in Website Design.

While working as a Website Designer, I felt that I still required more guidance in Design industry so I applied and was accepted into the Bachelor of Communication Design—completing my studies at Billy Blue College of Design, located on Little Collins street, Melbourne.

After completing my Bachelor of Communication Design I volunteered my time to assist in the build of TedX St Kilda's website. I also volunteered with The Design Foundation while they hold yearly design forums that brings a variety of artists and designers from all over the world and allows them to share their experiences and methods of conceptualisation to Melbourne's public via forums and workshops.

Soon after I secured a position as a Lead Visual Designer with ntegrity. I worked with this lovely team for 1.7 years. The work that I had produced were primarily in digital format —HTML/CSS for MailChimp and Campaign Monitor, Advertising for Google and Facebook, Social media posts for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, Email wireframes and specifications, Email content creation and Litmus testing.

My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to challenge myself in order find points of difference behind any idea I've been assigned or am interested in. The simplest way of explaining this is "to have an idea, break this idea and then re-assemble it in a different way then before".

For me, design is a place where you can think outside of the box using: problem solving, common sense and creative direction to find the right balance in any execution. Story—telling isn't about creating diversions, but rather, capturing the attention of your audience through previous or similar experiences, emotions and memories. It's a way of creating a memorable and lasting impression that they can take away with them. Evoking a sense of emotion whether it be good or bad.

At this current moment in time - I am working as a Digital Designer at Specsavers ANZ.
